Around the evening fire in Moremi Sean and I started to dream of a new and exciting future running a safari business. I have completed many safaris since 1981 and so this was the culmination of a dream birthed during my first safari many years before.
It was here, around the fire, that Into The Sun was born.
We have been meticulous in our planning for our launch which was in April 2007. Our trip offerings include Namibia, Botswana and Zambia with more to come including Mozambique, Lesotho and further North such as Angola and trips to the Serengeti, with the option of special customised trips as well.
You will experience the natural elements and wild life surrounding you during the journey, while our team guide and lead you ensuring your comfort and safety. You will enjoy your sun-downer taking in the African sunsets, with aromas from the kitchen filling the air while listening to the African calls of the wild.
There are a number of very experienced operators doing the same thing and whilst one can say we are competition, we would like to work together with them toward a common goal of introducing people to the wild. At the same time protecting the fragile and threatened eco systems, for future generations.
We see people sitting in offices, dreaming of the setting African sun and frustrated that their 4 X 4 is clean and doesn't often leave the tar, but the how, the where to and the when all blocking the mind of opportunity. We would like to share our experiences with others, by exploring the remote areas that are now open to us and make your dream come true.
