This course is aimed at someone who has never kite surfed before and wants to learn. It is 4 days spread over the week and includes all material and then 1 week rental, transport daily from the accommodation and certificate on completion.

The itinerary is flexible as these sports do rely on wind so could be subject to change.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1: Arrive Fuerteventura airport meet guide who takes you to accommodation

Day 2: Theory & Beach flying
You will be collected around 1030am and taken to the beach where you get between 1-1.5 hours of theory followed by a short break before starting 3 hours of beach flying where you learn all about the safety system, re launching the kite, wind window, board types etc. You will be issued with a lunch pack.

Day 3: Waterwork
This is the big day! Once again collection is around 1030 you will be kitted out with wetsuit, harness, buoyancy and helmet and then it is off to the boat and out to se. We will start with 2 hours of body dragging followed by the same again for board work. You will be issued with a lunch pack.

Day 4: Board work
Any session of board work now being taught to perfect stance, kite movement and looking at upwind sailing. You will be issued with a lunch pack.

Day 5: Board work
This the final session on the board you should have mastered riding and be going up wind. IKO certificates are issued. You will also be issued with a lunch pack.

Day 6: FREE (lunch pack is included)

Day 7 - 13: Rental
Collection from 10:00 & 10:30 to go to Flag Beach. You will have a full days rental available till we close which will also include free rescues. So you will have plenty of time to improve and hone your skills. You will also be issued with a lunch pack.

Day 14: FREE (lunch pack is included)

Day 15: Departure Day

Accommodation Details

Basic Package: Basic hostel accommodation in shared room with breakfast.

2 week Upgrade Package:1242Euros

Kitesurf Packages
The difference between the basic and upgrade package is the accommodation standard. The surf hostel is more basic with only 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens shared among 16 people (7 rooms) when it´s full, whereas Casa Quemadas are 1 and 2 bedroom apartments of a higher standard and with only 2 and 4 people per maximum per apartment respectively.

If more than one person is booking a package where the arrival and departure dates are the same then we are offering 50 Euros off/ package for 2 or more packages. If travelling alone and client does not want to share then single person supplement of 108 Euros/week is charged, otherwise we put them in an apartment with another person (if we have a booking for that date!!!)

If they are travelling with a non participating partner then they pay 128 Euros/wk net for the basic package and 204 Euros/wk net for the upgrade package. This allows them to tag along and get all the pick ups, lunch pack etc except the tuition.
