Located in Sunset Beach, Blouberg, Cape Town’s most Southern tip, is the home of Kitekahunas Advanced Kiteboarding School. Specializing in 2 week advanced kitesurfing courses, we also offer a truly comfortable stay at Kitekahunas Beach House.

Cape Town offers a variety of kitesurfing conditions. Learn new tricks in the shallow water of lagoons, or alternatively enjoy waves from 3-5 meters at other kitesurfing locations. The variety is never ending, and it’s not surprising that many kitesurfing professionals visit Cape Town from October till March to train. You can even enjoy 10km down-winders from the Kitekahunas Kite Beach House.

Cape Town is known for its legendary South Easter trade wind "Cape Doctor" from October through till April, and this wind is known more for its strength and consistency than any other place in the world.

We at Kitekahunas, combined with these brilliant locations and wind offer highly personalized courses focusing on the desired outcome of the participants. These courses are designed for a maximum of 6 participants, and all students and instructors stay together in the Kite Beach House. The combination of good wind, excellent kitesurfing locations and beautiful beaches with Table Mountain as the back-drop, this is the perfect recipe for the holiday of a lifetime. Video feedback, personal kite photos and radio communication on the water for instant and fast learning are our standards of teaching at Kitekahunas - Advanced Kiteboarding School.

Course B - Beginners Course II: Riding Upwind, Transitions and Basic Jumps
Course D - Accent on Freestyle Intermediate
Course F - Accent on Rotation Jumps and Transitions
Course G - Accent on Freestyle Advanced and Unhooked Tricks
Course H - Accent on Waves: Twin-tip, directional and strapless hooked-in and unhooked wave riding

Accommodation Details

Both participants of our courses and the instructors will live together at the Kite Beach House for the entire duration of your kitesurfing holidays. In the house we have two very beautiful apartments with separate entrance, equipped with a large bathroom, TV, DVD, WLAN and Internet and one apartment with its own private lounge. You can either choose self-catering - all rooms are equipped with a fridge and kitchen facilities - or you can opt for breakfast and dinner served from Kitekahunas kitchen.
