Setting-up - Piloting - Safety - Managing of the practice area - Spot analysis
The best way to discover kiteboarding! By the end of this program, you will be ready to move to the next step: getting up on the board! The first part of this program will take you through the steps of piloting a 2 or 4 lines kite, and body dragging in the water. You will also learn about safety and how important it is to the sport. Furthermore, you will be taken through the steps of equipment set up and launching and landing.

Water start - Managing the kite's power - Edging
By the end of the intermediate program, you will get up on the board for your first ride. During the course, you will improve kite piloting with power, one hand kite piloting, body dragging unhooked and hooked in to your harness. Perfect for those who wish to practice a few times per year and rent equipment during holidays.

GOKOVA RUZGAR SPORTS is one of Turkey's biggest kiteboarding schools.
Taking advantage of some of the best conditions in Turkey, our aim is to offer unrivalled standards of tuition and service, using the most up to date equipment available, together with an instructor team of the highest calibre. All kiteboarding courses are taught by International Kiteboarding Organisation qualified instructors and we teach to set standards to ensure that you are given the best learning experience possible.
Our kiteboard courses are one to one. You can get a 20% group discounts with 2 or max 3 attendants.
Akyaka where you might accommodate is, 2 km. from our launching & landing point. We have complimentary shuttles to beach or it is leisurely 15 minute walk to the beach.
Akyaka beach is 3 km. long, with max 50 cm depth in 150 meters without even a small stone, making this calm sandy beach a top ranked kiteboarders' choice. We offer only high quality equipment (Slingshot, Liquid Force, Crazy Fly, Underground), experienced and approved instructers and an optional day for excursions.
Courses start at 11:30 everyday. Beginners start on the land with training kites. We will be based on the beach all day till 17:30. You can find sandviches and cold drinks at the base or if you are feeling adventurous paddle up through the creek to try the famous village patisserie 2 km behind the beach. The price includes equipment, coaching, transfers between Akyaka and our base and photos. |
