5 day Deep Desert by Camel

This is our most loved Desert Safari! Start by climbing Mount Sinai to watch the sunrise & visit St Katherine monastery; continue with 5 days deep in the Sinai Desert by camel. Ride your camel or walk alongside; either way you will enjoy beautiful desert landscapes and the quiet of the desert everywhere you go.

This safari is about the Canyons! Start in Wadi Arada, spend your first night on the El Guna Plateau, then cross to the east side. The Canyons here are incredible - with lots of soft sand to bed down in for the night!

Day 1:
Leave Dahab about 11pm, travel to St Catherine

Climb Mount Sinai through the night to see the sunrise

Day 2: Dahab-Wadi Arada-Double Canyon-El Gona PlateauViews from the El Guna Plateau
Descend Mt Sinai in the morning light

Visit St Catherine monastery

About 10am, travel to Wadi Arada. Time to relax after the long night & explore the Double Canyon.

Lunch, then it's time to meet our camels!

Trek to the top of Jebel El Gona - 1700m high, stretching for 50km from Ein Khudra, separating the southeast and middle west areas of Sinai

Enjoy sunset from the El Guna Plateau. Dinner & overnight.

El Hashem CanyonsDay 3: El Gona Plateau-Wadi Zalagha-Zaranig Canyons

After Breakfast enjoy a morning trek through Farsh El Gona & Wadi Zalagha

Relax at El Malagha for lunch, before traveling to the Zaranig Canyons.

Day 4: Zaranig Canyons
We spend all of today exploring the largest and deepest of the Zaranig canyons, stopping for lunch and tea, and enjoying the spectacular landscape. When it rains, the water floods from here down to Nuweiba.

Day 5: Zaranig Canyons-Abu TurefiaEl Hashem - camel silhouette
Explore 2nd of the Zaranig Canyons

Journey to Nabq Abu Turefia, where you can marvel at the view whilst relaxing with a cup of tea. Trek down to the wadi for dinner and camp for the night.
