6 Day Essential Cape Town + Great White Cage Diving
6 Day Essential Cape Town + Great White Shark Cage Diving
Cape Town"... The most stately thing, the fairest Cape we saw in the whole circumference of the earth" is how Sir Francis Drake described the Cape of Good Hope in 1580. Today many things may have changed but Cape Town, set between the sparkling waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the craggy heights of Table Mountain, is still one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
This holiday has Cape Town covered and included a full day cage diving with great white sharks at Shark Alley.
This holiday can be tailor-made to suit.

Itinerary / Highlights
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.Tours:
Full day Shark Cage Diving.
You do not need to be SCUBA qualified to go shark cage diving! The cage is tied to the side of the boat, and is never submerged. The Dive Master is always arm's reach away and divers can get out at any time. Divers stay in the cage for about 20 minutes watching the sharks and then are rotated until the end of the trip so that everyone has the opportunity to see the sharks. To cage dive all you need to wear is a wetsuit, mask and a weight belt. All diving equipment you will need for your cage dive will be provided. All of the equipment including a range of wetsuit sizes, from small to XL is stored on board and the Dive Master will allocate the equipment himself. The boat used is a 12mt Barracuda and was specially designed for shark cage diving and viewing. The boat is very stable - something to consider if you are prone to sea sickness. You can enjoy a fantastic view of the action from the top deck or get up close and personal in the 5-man cage. The boat also has a huge deck space, large observation deck, toilet and changing area. The boat carries all the required safety equipment and complies with local regulations.
Includes...transfers from Cape Town, breakfast, light lunch, snacks, soft drinks/mineral water, towels and all the diving gear on the boat, something light to eat after the trip.
Table Mountain & City Tour:
After Breakfast, a morning tour gives you an insight into the spirit of Cape Town and traces the history of the port from 1652 when the first Dutch Governor set foot on a beach nearby. The tour spends time on Table Mountain's summit (cable car fee payable locally, approx R120), the Company Gardens, the Castle of Good Hope and the vibrant flea market of Greenmarket Square. Finish this delightful tour with a walk through picturesque and clourful Bo-Kaap. You will then be transferred back to your hotel.
Cape Point and Penninsula:
Today, enjoy a Cape Point and Peninsula tour which showcases the incredible scenery of this picturesque city. Follow the beatiful Atlantic Ocean coast road via Sea Point, Camps Bay, and Llandudno to quaint Hout Bay where a boat trip to Seal Island is highly recommended (payable locally). Cross over the Peninsula and follow the Indian Ocean coast road to Cape Point where the 'two oceans' meet. Stop in Simonstown to view the large penguin colony at Boulders Beach before visiting Kirstenbosh Botanical Gardens on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
