As part of your Fluid Feeling course in Brazil, you will be given the opportunity to give something back to the local community in which you will be spending so much enjoyable time.
Brazil is still very much a developing country. Tourism is an increasingly important contributor to the Brazilian economy and is an integral part of the lives of many people - especially in Prea & Jeri. However, the impact of tourism on areas of outstanding natural beauty such as the Jericoacoara National Park is normally detrimental. We at Fluid Feeling want you to prove us wrong and for your tourism to have a beneficial effect on the lives of future generations.
Currently, only 3 people in the whole of the village of Prea speak English - one of them - Jair - is a kitesurf instructor with Skyriders at Kite Club Prea. As fishing as an industry declines and tourism expands in Prea, the desire of the local people - especially the young - to learn English is massive.
Fluid Feeling therefore give all clients on 2, 4 & 6 week Gap Year / Career Break / Time-out / Sabbatical / POTL & Resettlement courses the opportunity to Volunteer to take part in teaching schemes to make a positive impact on the lives of those less fortunate, to give them a better chance of success in the future.
*No matter whether you have a formal teaching qualification or not, all you need is some patience, a good sense of humour and your ability to speak English - it costs you nothing but a few hours of your time
*Volunteer schemes are not compulsory in any way - indeed you can choose to take part as much or as little as you like, but we urge everyone to give up just a couple of hours a week to 'muck-in' and lend a helping hand
*For each course participant who volunteers their time & effort for the duration of their course (no matter how many hours / week), Fluid Feeling will make a donation to the on-going protection of the Jeri National Park and the continued education of the people who live there

This course is perfect for anyone who wants to:
- Take their first steps in Kitesurfing / Kiteboarding and progress to a level of self-sufficiency and proficiency quickly; OR
- Progress their existing skills from intermediate to advanced level, even qualify as an Instructor
The course is based at the Kite Club Prea Centre and is run along IKO guidelines and includes:
- Group transfers from / to Fortaleza airport
- Excellent, very comfortable accommodation for the duration of your stay (see Accommodation Options for more information)
- All you can eat breakfast - with homemade breads, Brazilian cakes, granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, fresh juices, eggs and much more
- Evening meal 5 nights / week
- Brazilian BBQ - "Churasco" 1 night / week

- Daily 4 x 4 or Dune Buggy ride to & from Kite Beach Prea
