Zeta, leading incentive and adventure travel specialists have devised this 8 day golf tour with a warm difference. Get to play on some of South Africa’s finest courses, enjoy some serious sunshine – and relax in unadulterated comfort. You’ll get some excitement too with a visit to the highest pub in Africa!

Arrive at Durban airport and transfer to the luxurious Selborne Hotel for a delicious welcome dinner and a comfortable four night stay. Your golf has been arranged at some of the finest courses in the country – Selborne Golf Course and the challenging Wild Coast Sun – surrounded by rural homestead and with spectacular views over the Indian Ocean. Day four takes you on a beautiful scenic drive towards to the mighty Drakensberg Mountains. Once you reach the summit you’ll visit a local home and see how the Basutho live. Lunch is at the highest pub in Africa. Don’t forget to bring your passports for this trip!

On day Five you will travel along the north coast to the beautiful Zimbali Lodge. En route you’ll get to play at the world-renowned Durban Country Club – one of the oldest and most prestigious clubs in the Kwa Zulu Natal. This course boasts the best Par 5 – hole 3 in the world. On arrival at the Lodge you’ll enjoy five star luxury with rooms overlooking the Indian Ocean. On your first night a mouthwatering South African barbeque will be prepared for you. Your golf has been arranged at the Zimbali golf course – where long drives off the tee area needed and at Princes Grant – a lovely links course overlooking the Ocean.

Itinerary & Highlights

Day 1
Arrive at Durban airport and be met and assisted by a representative from the Golf & Game Safari Company. After collecting you luggage, your driver will assist you with you luggage and your transfer to the Selborne Estate.
On arrival you will be met by smiles and assisted to your room. For the afternoon relax and unwind and just familiarize yourself with the hotel and it’s surroundings.
A welcome dinner is planned for the group .
Overnight: Selborne Hotel – Bed & Breakfast – Dinner

Day 2
Today a round of golf is planned at the Selborne Golf Course! After Golf, you can relax at the hotel or the pool, or take to the shuttle to the private beach club , and enjoy the warm Indian Ocean . Enjoy the afternoon at your leisure.
Overnight: Selborne Hotel – Bed & Breakfast

Day 3
Golf is planned for the Wild Coast Sun today – a challenge to the average golfer – but and exciting course to play . Overlooking the Indian Ocean – with challenges on the par 3`s ! This course is situated in the homelands of the Transkei the original home of Mandela – so is surrounded by rural homestead with spectacular views over the ocean .
After golf – dinner will be booked for an excellent restaurant en route back to Selborne .

Day 4
Today we have a wonderful experience planned for you . You will be collected by your guide and enjoy a beautiful scenic drive inland towards the mighty Drakensberg mountains. Once you reach Underberg you will then climb onto a 4x4 and make your way up the Sani Pass mountain into Lesotho . Upon arrival at the summit – visit a local home and see how the Basutho live their simple lives . Enjoy a lunch which is included at the highest pub in Africa ! Return to Underberg and relax for the journey back to Selborne . (Passports required)
You will return in the early evening.

Day 5
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and travel along the north coast to the beautiful Zimbali Lodge. En route we have planned for you to play golf at the World renowned Durban Country Club – the oldest and most presitigious club in the Kwa Zulu Natal . This course is also a good challenge and boasts the best Par 5 – hole 3 in the World – so the experts say ! After golf – you will then continue to Zimbali for check in .
Check in and enjoy the quiet serenity of this lodge. This is situated on a magnificent course and overlooks the Indian Ocean . Your rooms are beautiful with 5* service . For dinner we will enjoy a south African barbeque under the stars .
Overnight: Zimbali Hotel – Bed & Breakfast – dinner

Day 6
Today you will play golf at Zimbali golf course- long drives off the tee are needed – so get the one wood out ! Enjoy your game on this wonderful course. For the afternoon – you are at leisure –however the hotel offers the facility of a Spa – or you can take a horse ride along the beach – or merely enjoy the sun !
Evening at leisure to enjoy fine dining in the restaurant .
Overnight: Zimbali Hotel – Bed & Breakfast

Day 7
Golf is booked for Princes Grant today – this is situated further North . A lovely links course also overlooking the Indian Ocean and delight to play . After golf – return to Zimbali for a Farewell dinner .
Overnight : Zimbali – Bed and Breakfast – Dinner .

Day 8
Generally all connecting flights to JHB for departure back the UK leave in the late afternoon - so we have booked tee off times for your last round of golf if you wish to play – or soak up the warmth of the African sun. Depart for the airport mid afternoon .
Transfer to the airport.
