Your training will be based at the Manly Swimming Centre, next to Manly Beach, and you will be trained by some of the best and most experienced lifeguards in the world. They will teach you about pool safety, use of chemicals and emergency First Aid. You will also work on your fitness, a very important component of any lifeguarding course.
You will also do some of your fitness and water safety training on the beach, giving you a more complete understanding of the job facing a professional lifeguard.
