Surfing Instructor Course (SSA Level 1)
Dig out your boardies, get waxing down and get qualified.
From novice to professional in no time at all. You'll receive one-to-one tuition to improve your technique, as you ride one of natures wonders of the world. You'll spend 12 weeks working with children from underprivileged areas in South Africa to help build up the 50 instructional hours necessary to qualify as an SSA Level 1 Surf Instructor (These qualifications are recognised internationally by the BSA). Time will be spent shadowing the school’s instructors on pristine beaches in and around Plettenberg Bay, South Africa - Riding some of the best waves in the world.
As part of your programme you will also complete a Surfing Life Savers Course before your 3 day instructor's exam at the end of your 12 weeks. Our instructors will be there with you every step of the way.
