Active Dalmatia

Centre-based and with very little travelling, your week is designed to encompass as many different fun activities as possible in the beautiful Croatian countryside. You stay in a family-run hotel on the banks of the River Cetina. From this base you have the chance to canoe, bike, walk, canyon and raft. And for a real taste of the outdoors you camp overnight on the riverbank and dine on freshly caught trout.

Canoeing & biking
Starting with an easy canoe expedition on the Cetina River, you then head out into the countryside to explore traditional villages by bike.

Historic Sinj
For a change of pace there is also the chance to see something of Croatia's historic past with a visit to the nearby town of Sinj with its museum and fortress. You'll also explore the local countryside on foot with a walk through abandoned villages and stunning karst scenery.

Rafting & Canyoning
Returning to the river you try your hand at white water rafting shooting the rapids as you head towards Omis. On your last day you'll again be in the river as you experience canyoning through the 200m deep Cetina river gorge.

History & Canyons
There is the chance to see a bit of Croatia’s long history as you visit the nearby town of Sinj with its museum and fortress. It’s then into the countryside for a delightful walk amongst abandoned villages and karst landscape. On your last day you return to the river to experience canyoning through the 200m deep Cetina River gorge – adrenaline definitely included! This trip is popular for solo travellers and groups alike.
