Itinerary / Highlights

Mountain bike tour - If you have a passion for mountain biking and you haven't explored the Alt Empordà yet, now is your chance. We will take you to all the hidden tracks and show you the best routes and views this part of the Costa Brava has to offer. All our routes are situated in the eastern Pyrenees of Catlunya, where the mountains meet the Mediterranean.

Sea Kayaking - explore the fascinating coastline including sea caves, in your two man kayaks. Great fun for all. If you prefer we can also offer river kayaking tours.

Horseriding - Horse riding is for all ages and all seasons. No previous horse riding experience is required for the routes we offer. An experienced guide will take you on a one or two hour horse back ride through the Aiguamolls d`Empordà nature park. This park is one of the best places in Spain for bird life, especially in the spring and autumn. During the bird migration period a visit to this park is an unforgettable experience..

Quad Biking - After many years of experience, no trail in this very special natural park of Aiguamolls d´Empordà is secret to us any more. Here we can find extensive fruit groves, two rivers, the Fluviá and the Muga and some beautiful forests and open fields. With the Quads ATV 260 and the help of our expert guides you'll discover and enjoy these great sceneries. During this activity your safety and an environmentally friendly behaviour are a priority.

Xons Playa Hotel:
Built in 1985, this 9-floor hotel offers 210 apartments, with 173 apartments for 2-4 persons, 26 apartments for 4-6 persons and 11 for 6-8 persons. The facilities include a reception, a small supermarket, a boutique, lifts and a hairdresser. Additional facilities include a 3 conference rooms, games room and a TV room. A laundry service as well as a children's playground and a kids' club are also available. . Dining options include 2 restaurants, the Oasis buffet restaurant, Taj Mahal Indian restaurant as well as the Rendez-Vous pub by the pool.

This hotel is located only 125m from the beach, in the tourist centre of Ampuria Brava. There are several commercial areas surrounding the hotel where guests may explore the different shops, boutiques, bars as well as restaurants. Links to the public transport network are also found within metres of the hotel's entrance.

The hotel features a swimming pool with children's paddling area, a pool bar and a sun terrace. Guests also have to opportunity to play tennis, table tennis, billiards or a round of minigolf (at an additional fee). Health treatments are available on request. It is approximately 20 km to the nearest golf course. The hotel also offers an entertainment programme.
