An activity packed weekend which can be tailored to you. Stay at our luxury full board villa (flexible meals) and chose from a number of activities. As a taster we have put together a package of thrilling activities for an adrenalin filled weekend, including canyoning, rock climbing, and an extreme 4x4 off-road experience.
Canyoning
Canyoning is an exhilarating activity which involves navigating down a water course by a combination of walking, climbing, swimming, abseiling, jumping and generally scrambling down the river & its banks. Canyoning takes place in river gorges of unspoilt beauty, made up of a series of spectacular waterfalls, crystal clear pools and beautiful rock passages, cut and sculpted by water over millions of years. Due to Southern Spain ’s excellent climate and geology it is an ideal location for beginners and more advanced canyoners to experience this fantastic activity.
Rock climbing
The climbing takes place in Lanjaron (famous for bottled water in Spain), near Granada. Chelo and her team are the most qualified instructors in the area, with all of them belonging to the Spanish mountain rescue team.
There are many different types of climbs from quiet simple assents to overhangs for the experienced. The instructors are there all the time for help and support and will soon assess your standard. They will then try to improve your climbing without making you feel uncomfortable or over challenged.
4x4 Experience
From a relaxing excursion into the Andalucian Mountains to a white knuckle ride along forestry track and up steep firebreaks, you can tell Adam and his 4x4 experts what you want. Breathtaking scenery and fantastic terrain that is off the beaten track, and those who want more thrills can take some extreme off-road tracks.

The following are included in the Adrenalin Adventure Weekend itinerary:
Transport to your activities
Fully qualified English speaking instructors / guides
All required equipment
The beginning of the canyoning will start with meeting and greeting your guides and collecting your equipment. You will then be transported to the start point by 4x4. From here you will work your way down the canyon and at the end you will be collected and taken back to the meeting point where Su or Sam will be waiting to drive you back to the villa.
The rock climbing begins with meeting the instructors. If you have never climbed before the team will run through all the equipment with you explaining and demonstrating how to use everything, how to belay (the job of gathering the excess rope while the other person climbs) how to abseil (come down) and also go through all the safety guide lines. They will then pair you off (normally matching people of similar weight), fit you with safety helmets and climbing shoes (not so comfortable but very helpful). If you are a regular climber please feel free to bring your own equipment. You will then get started. The instructors will then set the climbs out for you depending on your standard.
The only thing left to do then is to challenge yourself to complete as many climbs as they set out for you.
The 4x4 Experience will start from the villa and you can tell your guides what kind of experience you want. |

Your holiday will be based at Villa España Escape, on the Andalucian coast of Southern Spain, just 30 minutes east of Malaga. Our luxury villa is in a peaceful location, just outside Torre del Mar, offering modern and tranquil surroundings. The generous living areas and grounds provide spacious and private accommodation for large groups, and with gated access security can be assured.
The villa is split over two levels. On the lower level there are 4 large twin/double en-suite rooms, large enough for the option of a third bed if required. There is a large private swimming pool surrounded by an extended sun terrace, and a newly built comfortable louge/living area. The terraces and mature gardens are completely private, with fig, mango, orange and lemon trees, and have panoramic views of both the sea and mountains.
The new guest lounge/living area has relaxing sofas, Sky TV, DVD/CD player and board games to keep you busy in the evenings. There is a bar (honesty bar) with beer and wine, and an area to prepare food (sandwiches, light lunches etc) with a microwave, sink and fridge for you to keep your own bits of food. This is your space to relax and maybe take a break from the sun. The room is supplied with heating in the winter just in case it is needed.
The upper level is where Su, Sam, Arun, and their 2 sausage dogs, Benny and Rioja, live. Outside the villa is a covered terrace with alfresco dining for the guests, and for the odd rainy days or the colder winter evenings, there is a large dining area inside the villa which seats 12. There are further gardens on this level and a large open sun terrace with fantastic views of the Mediterranean Sea. |
