Adventure Tour in Slovenian Alps

Mountain biking holidays that you will never forget !

Our aim when setting up this tour was to create a varied and exciting experience that would not only afford us some fantastic mountain biking, but also allow us to explore different mountain areas of Slovenia with motorhome.

To achieve this we used our own local knowledge gained from several years of mountain biking in Slovenia and in conjunction with local riders to provide a real mountain biking experience. The resulting adventure is aimed at regular mountain bikers, who are looking for thrills and a challenge. It is not really a suitable trip for beginners. Some of the climbs are quite long and many of the descents are fast and furious.

This trip has a bit of everything: Fire roads, technical rocky trails, Muletarias (WW1 singletrack mountain trails), forest tracks, man-made trails, challenging ascents and fast descents.

Best enjoyed by regular riders looking for an alpine experience on uncrowded trails.

Itinerary / Highlights

* Day 1: Rendezvous at the airport. Transfer from Airport to first camp for the nights. Group meeting with the evening meal.

* Day 2: After breakfast we ride in to the Dovžanova vally and to the Dolge njive , followed by singletrail to Šija and stop for lunch in Kofce. Dowhill to Tržič and transfer to Kranjska Gora.

* Day 3: After breakfest ride to Tromeja on the boder with Italy in Austria. Downhill to Rateče and ride to Tamar vally. Transfer to Intenarary sevendaysKobarid and dinner.

* Day 4: Ride the remains of the WW1 front muletarias. After lunch it's adrenalin pumping whitewater rafting on the famous turquoise Soca River.

* Day 5: Rest day (Extra adventures activities)

* Day 6: After breakfest we ride thrue forest old military roads and paths lead to hidden parts of Soriška planina, and to the vicinity of mountain summits. Long exiting dowhill will finish our day. Transfer to Bled.

* Day 7: The diverse roads and paths will lead us to the Pokljuka plateau. After biiking transfer to Ljubljana. Night visit to centre of Ljubljana - capital city of Slovenia.

* Day 8: After breakfast transfer back to Ljubljana Airport.
