From your base in Naples the relaxed schedule offers opportunities to visit the island of Capri and the ruins of Pompeii before the next stage of the trip.
After ascending to the crater of Mt Vesuvius, a private transfer takes you to the small town of Agerola perched high above the sea.
Surrounded by forests and with sweeping views of the Mediterranean, Agerola is a perfect base to explore the Amalfi Coast on foot.
Day walks along a series of ancient footpaths lead you to the stunning bougainvillea covered town of Positano, past terraced vineyards to the timeless villages of Ravello and Pogerola and across rugged hillsides to the beautiful Ferriere Valley.
In between walks, relax to enjoy fine hospitality, a dip in the sea and delicious local cuisine.

Itinerary / Highlights
DAY 1 Arrive NaplesDAY 2 By hydrofoil to the island of Capri, explore by foot (3hrs), return to Naples
DAY 3 Day trip to Pompeii by train, afternoon free to discover historical centre of Naples
DAY 4 Transfer to Mt Vesuvius, walk to crater and continue to Agerola (2hrs)
DAY 5 Traverse the Lattari Mountains with exceptional views over Amalfi coast (5hrs), return to Agerola
DAY 6 Walk through the beautiful Ferriere Valley to Ravello, return to Agerola (5 hrs)
DAY 7 Hike the ancient terraced mule path linking Agerola and Positano, return to Amalfi by boat then local bus to Agerola
DAY 8 Return to Naples airport, trip concludes
