Beginning in Calcutta and ending in Dhaka, we're aiming to open Bangladesh's doors to tourism with this revolutionary overland trip, the first of it's kind to ever travel through the country. We'll spend 16 days exploring this reclusive but dynamic country, from mangroves in the Sundarbans to tea plantations in Srimangal and from the long beaches of Cox's bazaar to the impressive archealogical sites of Bogra. Bangladesh is a country that is determined to offer up the unexpected, it is, for example, one of the first nations on earth to completely ban the plastic bag!
