The surf school is based at Praia do Amado on the beautiful west coast about 25mins outside Lagos. You will be picked up each day from your hotel and dropped back at the end of each day.
Amado beach boasts the best conditions for beginners in the Algarve and hence it is where we have our beach hut and mostly conduct our lessons. We have a number of surf courses for beginners available. We also have body boards and fins for hire.
All lessons are taught by qualified BSA (British Surf Instructor) and FPS (Portuguese Surf Federation) coaches. Each teacher has a maximum of 10 students and lessons are generally 2 sessions of 1,5 hours each day breaking for a supplied lunch consisting of water, fruit, sandwiches, crisps, biscuits etc.
Our 2 day introduction to kitesurfing course, is instructed according to IKO standards with safety being a priority. A maximum of four students are taught with the latest equipment to ensure maximum advantage to the students learning experience as well as their safety. A support boat is also always on-hand in case of an emergency.
Whether you're a seasoned wakeboarder or are coming to learn how to wakeboard you'll find in and around Lagos we have awesome wakeboarding conditions countered with gorgeous scenery and the best boat in town.
You can exchange wakeboarding for one of the alternative activities (supplements may apply). For longer duration packages, you can add extra activities and tailor the package to suit your needs. |
