Lagos and Luz are the heart of the west Algarve and beautifully retain their small town charm. Ideally situated just under an hour from Faro airport Lagos is also the terminal of the Algarve railway. Lagos has its own modern marina, beach cafes, golf courses and within its ancient walls lies a network of bars, restaurants, year round entertainment and a bustling nightlife to suit everyone.

Itinerary & Highlights

The surf school is based at Praia do Amado on the beautiful west coast about 25mins outside Lagos. You will be picked up each day from your hotel and dropped back at the end of each day.

Amado beach boasts the best conditions for beginners in the Algarve and hence it is where we have our beach hut and mostly conduct our lessons. We have a number of surf courses for beginners available. We also have body boards and fins for hire.

All lessons are taught by qualified BSA (British Surf Instructor) and FPS (Portuguese Surf Federation) coaches. Each teacher has a maximum of 10 students and lessons are generally 2 sessions of 1,5 hours each day breaking for a supplied lunch consisting of water, fruit, sandwiches, crisps, biscuits etc.

All equipment is supplied (surfboard, wetsuit, leash, rash vest etc) and you are taught how to handle the equipment in a safe environment. Shade is also supplied.

These spacious studios and apartments are located in the traditional resort of Lagos, set within their own grounds. This property is recommended for couples and families. A stroll from the Via Don\' Ana will bring you to the centre of town where you will find a multitude of bars, restaurants and shops

Superior 3star Marina Park apartments
Hotel facilities include an outdoor pool, children’s pool and 2 tennis courts. At the reception desk, guests can book excursions such as safaris, boat trips, water slide tickets and golfing discounts for the nearby golf courses. Near to the hotel guests can also have the opportunity of going fishing, water ski, surfing, sailing, horse riding and cycling.

4star Magnolia Mar beach hotel
Modern property, located on Porto de Mós beach. All apartments are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, radio and direct dial telephone. It also feature restaurant, snack bar, bar, games room, fitness room, outdoor pool and tennis court.
