An experience you will never forget. We are taking you through Moremi, Savuti and Kasane which are Botswana's best reserves, alive with game and interesting terrain to navigate through, for those 4x4 driving enthusiasts.
We have taken great care in putting together a team with all the right equipment to make camping a truly unforgettable, comfortable experience, while still being in the wild. Anthony the tour leader is supported by Sean in the utilities vehicle with chef and assistants as required. We will guide you to some breath-taking destinations with all the vehicles being issued with two-way radios to ensure constant contact and safety at all times.

PLEASE NOTE that the 4x4 rental is an extra cost of £80 per day, per vehicle. This excludes fuels and oils. The vehicles seat 4 (including driver) comfortably. We can arrange vehicles to suit your needs. International drivers licenses are required.

Day 01 - We will meet you at Jo Burg airport on arrival driving to a lodge nearby where we will overnight.
Day 02 - The next day we head for Botswana and stay at the Tati Lodge campsite in Francistown.
Day 03 - meet & greet - Our first day is at Nata Lodge is about 180 km from Franicstown on the A3 where we meet our local clients driving there own 4 x 4's .Nata Lodge is a beautiful lodge with all the facilities including tented camps, restaurant and tours to the Pans on Quad bikes.
Day 04 - After breakfast, we will issue all the vehicles with two-way radios. We will then travel approximately 200km to Nxai Pans situated in the Makgadikgadi Game Reserve. After lunch one can either relax at the camp or take a game drive through the reserve. After we’ve all settled down, our chef will prepare dinner and talk of the day around a camp-fire is always welcome.

Day 05 - We travel through Maun where we can stock up and refuel, take in the sights and move on to Moremi. Botswana's best.

Day 06 - Today is for game viewing and Mkoro trips for those who are interested. Breakfast and a light, packed lunch will be served. The whole day is for you and your intergration to nature.

Day 07 - After breakfast, we will take a slow drive through to North gate. We will cross the Third Bridge pole bridge which Moremi is known for. It’s a fairly short drive so after lunch at North Gate you are welcome to go game viewing. There are some truly amazing things to behold in this area.

Day 09 - We travel out of North Gate and head for Savuti. It’s a fairly long day but interesting roads making for a good drive. Savuti is a very dry area since the Savuti River no longer has water flowing through it. The ablution facilities are elephant proof, so you can have a well deserved shower in safety.

Day 10 - Savuti is a huge area with so much to see. This area is alive with history with an exciting geological past and was home to the first of mankind , as many believe

Day 11 - Savuti to Kasane is a very sandy drive of 150 km. It will take the best part of the day with speeds not much above 40 km. per hour. The bush is dense but with keen eyes there is a lot of game to be seen. Further north, as we near the chobe river there are spectacular views of the river and northern plains which we see from the tops of certain rises in the terrain.

Day 12 - From Tora Lodge we can drive to Victoria Falls, the largest waterfall in the world, a 150km round trip.
In the evening we will arrange a boat sunset cruise on the Chobe River for those interested, a worthwhile experience.

Day 13 -After breakfast we must sadly say goodbye to our local clients as they head south and home. The overseas clients will travel with us in convoy back to Nata Lodge where we once again overnight and relax.
Day 14 - Heading south we will exit Botswana through the Tuli Block camping at a local safari lodge. i.e. Tuli Safari Lodge.
Day 15 - Exiting Botswana we travel back to Gauteng with one final overnight before arriving at O T Airport.

We will be sleeping in tents, either within a lodge's camp site or in the bush. Showers and toilets are available at all the sites but functionality cannot be guaranteed. We do carry shower and portable loo facilities in such circumstances. |
