Budget Taghazout Apartments

Simple but comfortable apartments located in the heart of Taghazout and 20 metres from the surf!

Accommodation:
Our Budget apartments are simple but in an incredible location. The apartments are situated about 20 metres from the ocean front. Each apartment has 2 double bedrooms, living area, kitchen and bathroom.

Food and Drink:
Meals are not included in the Budget Taghazout apartments, however our Hash Point Surf Camp is just 20 metres away where you are welcome round in the morning for breakfasts free of charge. We serve dinners on the Surf Camp roof terrace also every evening - just enquire when you arrive!
Taghazout is also full of small restaurants and cafes. Le Spot serves excellent Tajines, sandwiches and Pizza's. L'auberge has a wide range of more interesting foods and Cafe De La Paix is the place to head in the evenings for a post-dinner coffee.

Surfing in Taghazout:
The surf is typically better during the winter months from September to April, when big storms create swell in the North Atlantic. These swells then take a few days to travel south to Morocco, during this time, they spread out and become much more defined, increasing the time between each waves, this is known as wave period. These defined swell lines are excellent for surfers of all levels. As you can see below at one of the point breaks in Morocco, the swell lines then wrap around headlands to create perfect surfing waves. During the summer months, it is still very possible to surf every day in Morocco, but mainly on the beach breaks, like that found in Europe.
The Panoramas apartments are situated right on Panoramas point - a nice easy point break which picks up a good metre wave when it's too big at the other points. Panoramas beach is situated just to the south - the perfect beginner beach break with sandy bottom and no hazards. It's also a great beach to chill out on during the day, take a jet ski out, ride a camel or play some beach games!
About a 15 minute walk up the coast are the 4 best breaks in the area. Anchor point, Mysteries, La Source and Killer point are all excellent waves and work at different tides. There's nearly always a surfable wave!

There's also many many more breaks around not in walking distance. If you'd like to get away from the crowds a little, how about hiring a car from us for £30 a day!

Car Hire Option:
We can provide a car (5 seater Dacia with roof straps) at the spot that you want to pick it up from, have a man waiting at the car with your name on a billboard and be able to sign off all of the insurance paperwork with you on the spot.
This is the perfect way for you to get your surfing holiday started. The cars will be delivered to you clean, but without much fuel at all. This is how you are given the car and so do not feel that you have to leave the car with a full fuel tank. There is a fuel station right outside the airport.


Surf school Lessons Option:
The Surf Berbere surf school has helped hundreds of people learn to surf over the last couple of years. Our dedicated surf instructors provide a supportive environment for you and your family to master the fundamentals of surfing in preparation for your future surfing holidays.
The Devil’s Rock Surf School is located between Taghazout and Aourir, just 15km north of Agadir. The region of Taghazout is blessed with sensational waves and gloriously sunny weather year round. This provides the perfect conditions for learning to surf in. We offer surf lessons and kit hire to all (from 8 years and above) regardless of your surfing ability.
There are two session each day lasting 2 hours each, one beginning at 10am and the other at 2pm. Please specifiy which session you would like when booking your holiday.
