Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1 Windhoek-
Enjoy this attractive German-style capital set against a backdrop of high majestic mountains.

Day 2 Ghanzi-
The oldest hunter-gatherer society known to man, the San Bushmen have made the vast, inhospitable Ghanzi region their home for centuries. Learn how these remarkable people live off the land and spend the night sleeping under a canopy of stars.

Days 3-4 Okavango Delta-
Accompanied by local guides, explore the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta. Travel on foot and in a mokoro, a traditional-style dugout canoe. A seasonal habitat for many birds and animals including hippos, hyenas, antelope and eagles - this is a perfect introduction to the African bush. Appreciate the tranquillity of the delta at night on a houseboat amid a carpet of water lilies.

Days 5-6 Caprivi Strip-
Marvel at ancient rock paintings on a guided walk, before heading to Caprivi Strip. Soak up the serenity of this beautiful area.

Day 7 Chobe National Park-
Prepare for the ultimate game viewing experience in the Chobe National Park. With the largest elephant population on the continent, thick forests and marshes that are home to nearly all of Africa's major species, this is safari heaven. Look out for crocs on a relaxing river cruise.

Days 8-9 Victoria Falls/ Livingstone-
Perhaps set off on an optional open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park. For even more game spotting opportunities, take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi. Spend time at the roaring Victoria Falls or, for something different, view them from an optional scenic flight.
