Canoeing Adventure in Sweden
Canoeing in Swedish Lapland
The Canoe Adventures takes you through the Tornedalen region of Swedish Lapland.
Your experience can be slow paced, taking in the breathtalking scenery, or a quicker pace, with rapids for the hardend adventurer.
Our canoeing trips take you right into the heart of the wilderness. While paddling and enjoying the beautiful scenery these trips take you up close and personnel to nature. Look out for Reindeer, Moose, Birds of Prey (Golden Eagles / Grey Owls) Arctic Fox just to mention a few. Marvel at the flora and fauna along the river banks that has not been touched by today's modern world and chemicals.
With a choice of 4 great rivers, Laino, Torne, Kalix and the Tarendo which in its self is very unique being a Bifurcation river. This means the river has no proper source but takes 56% of the water from the Torne River at Junosuanda and then leads into the Kalix River. The river is the second biggest Bifurcation in the world, the biggest being in South America.
We have trips for beginners up to professionals. You will be fully instructed by one of our professional guides who will stay with you throughout your adventure.
