DAYS 1 - 11, Fish River Canyon, Namib Desert, Swakopmund, Etosha, Windhoek

We visit Cape Town’s townships before crossing into Namibia to visit Fish River Canyon and climb giant dunes to watch the sunrise in the Namib Desert. We relax at coast Swakopmund or else try sandboarding, skydiving, fishing and plenty more! We visit enormous Cape Cross seal colony and camp wild in beautiful Damaraland. Further north in Etosha National Park, we hang out near desert waterholes and watch for the ‘Big Five’ before returning south to Windhoek.

DAYS 12 - 19, Ghanzi, Okavango Delta, Chobe National Park, Livingstone

We enter Botswana, land of the Kalahari and walk San bushmen in Ghanzi. We reach the Okavango Delta and explore the water channels and wildlife in dugout canoes poled by local guides. At Chobe National Park we enjoy big game sightings on a game drive and relax on a Chobe River cruise as the sun sets. We cross into Zambia and arrive at Livingstone, adventure playground and home of spectacular Victoria Falls.

DAYS 20 - 25, Kasane, Nata, Kruger Private Reserve, Mpumalanga, Johannesburg

We return to Botswana and camp near Kasane beside the Chobe River. We drive south around the Kalahari via Nata & Francistown en route to Kruger, for an exciting night drive and ‘Big Game’ drive before our arrival in Johannesburg.

DAY 26, Johannesburg

This day is left free for you to enjoy Johannesburg.

DAYS 27 - 33, Kruger National Park, Maputo, Swaziland, Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve, Durban

We return to Kruger National Park for more wildlife encounters before crossing into Mozambique and to the capital, Maputo. We sample its Afro-Portuguese vibe, colourful markets and great local beaches. In Swaziland we stay at Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary amongst blesbok and ostriches in the royal Ezulwini Valley. We re-enter South Africa and watch rhinos on game drives in Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve. Passing through Zululand we arrive in ‘Sunshine City’ Durban.
