Set at the foot of Mont Blanc Western Europe's highest mountain, Chamonix is a traditional alpine town offering fabulous skiing and stunning mountain scenery. There are 5 ski areas to explore, together with a wide variety of other sporting and leisure activities.

Chamonix rightly has a reputation as one of the freeride capitals, with skiers coming from all over the world to take on the famous off-piste such as the 'Vallee Blanche'. You don't have to be a pro to enjoy Chamonix. There are a large number of intermediate pistes to discover plus beginner slopes for those just starting out.

The town itself offers an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, boutiques and has some of the best nightlife in the Alps with numerous pubs and nightclubs.

Itinerary / Highlights

There are 2 lift pass options, a Chamonix local pass and a Mont Blanc Unlimited. The local lift pass covers the main ski areas in the valley, whilst the area pass includes access to the spectacular Aiguille du Midi lift, together with the mountain trains and the top station of the Grands Montets ski area (well worth a look!). The area pass also offers a free days skiing in the Italian ski resort of Courmayeur, a 30 minute free bus ride from Chamonix.

If hitting the piste is not quite enough Chamonix has plenty of other things to keep you busy such as Snowshoeing, Dog Sledding, Ice Skating, Paragliding, Ice driving, Ice climbing, Tobogganing and Skidoos. Also Not to be missed is the Aiguille du Midi lift & the world's highest vertical ascent cable car. Not only are the views from the summit (3,842m) spectacular, you'll also get a great view of the famous Mont Blanc peak.

Chamonix Apartments

Ranging from studios to larger apartments for up to people there is something to suit every budget. They are all on request so let us know how many of you are looking to travel and the dates you would like to book and we will get back to you with the options available.
Prices include bed linen, towels, local tourist tax, end of stay cleaning (except the kitchen area which must be left clean) and return transfers to/from Geneva airport.

You will need to pay an apartment deposit on arrival. This will vary according to the size of apartment and will be between 800 Euro and 1500 Euro.


Hotel Le Morgane

The hotel has 56 rooms including 16 junior suites, the Bistrot restaurant and a spa area with pool, steam room, sauna and beauty treatment rooms. The hotel has made strong commitment to sustainable tourism with major investments in renewable energies and energy reduction techniques and introducing initiatives such as waste sorting in the bedrooms , energy monitoring and staff uniforms made from fair trade cotton.

Prices included bed & breakfast, use of the pool, local tax and transfer to/from Geneva airport. Half board is available for a supplement. All the bedrooms are decorated in a modern style and have a flat screen tv, bathroom with bath or shower and toilet. All rooms have a terrace or balcony.


Hotel Les Aiglons resort & Spa

The hotel has been decorated in a contemporary style with a warm feel to it. There are single rooms, standard and deluxe twin/double rooms and junior suites which can sleep up to 5 people. Wifi is available in all bedrooms as well as the public areas and is free of charge. Garage parking is available at 10€ per day or there is a free outdoor car park.

Prices are based on bed and breakfast. Half board is available at a supplement. The lounge band serves cocktails, tapas and afternoon snacks and the Restaurant "A" which is open for both lunch and dinner.

Residence La Ginabelle

Each apartment includes a fully fitted kitchenette with 4 ceramic hobs, multifunction oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, bath or shower room and toilet, TV, Telephone, Wi-fi (local charge) and balcony. Bed linen and towels are included and beds are made upon arrival. A basic cleaning kit is also included as is end of week cleaning (except kitchen area and washing up)

Loan service: socket guards, irons and ironing boards, hairdryers, board games, fondue and raclette sets, daily newspapers available for consultation in the reception lounge, bed safety rail and portable PlayStation (subject to availability).

Residence La Riviere

Supermarkets, shops, bars, a bakery and several restaurants are all close by. The ski bus stop is a 2 minute walk, whilst the Aiguille du Midi lift is just 4 minutes away. Facilities include a games room, laundrette(supplement payable) and ski lockers. Apartment types: Studios (2-4 people, approx 25m2 ). Includes a living area with one double sofa-bed and two bunk beds.

Additional information: A refundable deposit of 200 Euro is payable upon arrival (credit/debit cards accepted). Prices include bed linen, tv and 2 dischloths. There is an option to pre-book 'Comfort plus'. This consists of beds made up on arrival, 2 sets of towels, a cleaning kit and apartment cleaning at the end of your stay (excluding kitchen area and washing up). See "doing more". There is also a loan service from reception for irons/ironing boards/hairdryers/board games/cards and socket guards (subject to availability).
