China Bike Ride
On this trip you go as a traveller, only to find that you become the main attraction, as local people are delighted to see that we travel as they do - on bicycles!
We commence our adventure in the southern city of Guangzhou as we cycle the backroads out through rural China with stunning green rice fields, mudbrick huts, buffaloes and farmers attending their fields as our daily backdrop.
Crossing over to Guangxi Province we cycle to Yao minority villages enroute to the stunning limestones pinacle landscape of Yangshou.
Located on the banks of the beautiful Li River, Yangshou's sublime scenery has inspired painters and poets for centuries.
Following our cycle ride we travel to Xian to visit one of the most significant discoveries of the 20th century- the Terracotta Warriors- then continue to Beijing to visit the Great Wall, Tianamen Square and the Forbidden City.
