Spend a magical Christmas or New Year in Swedish Lapland

During this unforgettable Lapland adventure you will have the chance to drive a snowmobile, visit a local Reindeer herder, take a ride in a sledge pulled by the Reindeer, go snow shoeing and cross country skiing. It is a Northern lights adventure into the Wilderness with a good chance of seeing the famous Aurora Borealis.

You will be staying in a small 7 bedroom hotel in the village of Kangos with a maximum of 14 people. The hotel is equipped with a Sauna and Hot Tube to help you relax after the adventures.

Christmas Lunch for the Christmas package and a little something special in the Wilderness for New Years Eve!!!

This is a very beautiful area unspoilt by tourism. You will be staying in the heart of the village in a very comfortable small hotel. The Village of Kangos only has 320 inhabitants and is a very peaceful and relaxing place to be.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1.
Pick up from chosen airport and transferred back to Hotel in Kangos.
Kitted out with Thermal outer clothing
Evening meal served
Chance to have a sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 2 (Christmas eve) (New Years eve package see below)
Full day snowmobiling, 2 sharing a machine, going to a wilderness camp for lunch.
You will be travelling through snow covered forest, across frozen lakes.
Your guide will serve lunch at the Wilderness camp.
In the afternoon you will travel back to the Hotel.
The evening meal will be served, a traditional Swedish Christmas table of food.
Use of the Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 3 (Christmas Day) (New Years Day)
After breakfast you will visit the local Sami Reindeer herder.
He will show you the Reindeer (if Santa has returned them) and tell you about his life.
You will have a magical Reindeer Sled ride through the snow covered forests and across frozen lakes.
Refreshments will be served
Back to the Hotel
A traditional Christmas evening meal will be served.
Use of the Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 4
A morning of cross country skiing.
Don't worry if you haven't tried before, you will be taken onto a frozen lake near the hotel and your guide will soon have you skiing around the lake.
Refreshments will be served
If you can ski you can always go onto the 3km flood light ski track around the village. (This is only for experienced cross country skiers)
Lunch will be served at the Hotel.
Free time in the afternoon
Evening meal at the Hotel
Northern lights trip. We will take snowmobiles out into the wilderness, hopefully to see Natures Magical show dancing above our heads. Hot refreshments will be provided.
Use of Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 5
Snow shoeing adventure.
You will be taken out on a trek around the local forest and lakes, a great way to see wild life.
Hot refreshments will be served on the way.
Lunch will be served at the Hotel
Afternoon free time. (Extra excursions can be arranged to the Moose farm or the World famous Ice Hotel Charged locally)
Evening meal at the Hotel.
Use of Sauna and Hot Tub.
Day 6
After breakfast transfer back to the airport.

New Years package.
The Itinerary is the same as above but we have a special trip into the wilderness on New Years Eve.
We then go back to the Hotel and if the celebrations are still going on in the village you can join in if you want.
On New Years Day a special meal will be cooked in the evening.

NB. On the cross country skiing and Snowshoeing days we some times split groups into 2, meaning 1 day half go skiing and the other half go on the Snow shoe trek.

NB. Due to the harsh weather up here sometimes we have to change the itinerary.

Small 6 Bedroom guest house. Large bedrooms, all have on suite shower and toilet. Twin or double beds, sofa.
Lounge dinning area
