Climb Mulhacen - the higest peak in Spain

Mountaineering in Lanjaron (Spain) with Spanish Highs

On the summit of Mulhacen

[Full Image]
A wonderful day's tour climbing the highest mountain in mainland Spain, Mulhacen (3481m). About 8 hours walking is involved in reaching this magnificent summit and viewpoint, but the effort is well worth while.

The trip can also be done in 2 days staying at the Poqueira hut overnight. The hut has beds, blankets, meals and drinks. The advantage of the 2 dayer is that we get to traverse the mountain instead of ascending and returning the same route.
