Itinerary / Highlights

Friday - Arrive at Al-mudawar Hotel.

Saturday - Today starts with a fun way of seeing the sites in Cordoba using a wonderful easy Segway. After a 5 minute video and a 10 minutes practical training session, you will be ready to enjoy Cordoba from a different point of view. After this we can visit the main sites on foot focusing on the 8th century Great Mosque (Mezquita de Cordoba) and the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos.

Sunday - This day we will take a walk up the hill to the stunning castle of Almodovar Del Rio. This is a popular local attraction as has been beautifully renovated. Afterwards we will walk to a restaurant for lunch and then visit the lovely botanical gardens.

Accommodation Details

This is a new guest house conveniently located in Almodovar Del Rio town center. It is a typical Spanish house cleverly restored with a Moroccan twist. It has 10 bedrooms and all rooms have air conditioning, TV with English channels and en suite bathrooms.

Guests have use of the indoor patio and roof terrace. There is also a dining room and small lounge with internet connection. It is owned and managed by a friendly Spanish couple who speak good English.
