Delta & Dunes
This is an adventure through some of the most spectacular areas in southern Africa, starting with the majestic Victoria Falls and then discovering the highlights of Namibia and Botswana. In Namibia, spot wildlife on game drives in Etosha NP and climb the world’s highest sand dunes at Sossusvlei. Botswana offers the wilderness of the Okavango Delta which you will explore by dugout canoe and you'll have the opportunity to learn more about the culture of the San Bushmen on walks in the Kalahari.
Watery Wilderness
Heading across the Kalahari Desert to Botswana you enter the northern part of the Okavango Delta and explore its labyrinth of waterways both by mokoro (dugout canoe) and on foot. Here you can spot elephant, hippo, buffalo, warthog and countless bird species.
Etosha National Park
Enjoy game viewing in Etosha National Park, Namibia's highly renowned and premier game park. It is huge - almost the size of Belgium, and here you can spot a multitude of animal and bird life, hopefully including black rhino at one of the famous floodlit waterholes.
Wonders of the Desert
Your route cuts through volcanic mountains en route to Twyfelfontein, where hundreds of Bushman engravings tell the story of the area’s original inhabitants. Pausing at the seal colony at Cape Cross you’ll then drive along the Skeleton Coast to Swakopmund. Finally, you spend two nights at Sesriem where there is ample time to walk and admire the giant dunes at Sossusvlei.
