Maun, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Maun, Moremi Game Reserve.

On arrival in Maun you are met and taken to our camp on the edge of the town. There is the option to take a game flight in a light aircraft over the Okavango Delta. The delta is the largest inland delta in the world and is an amazing sight from the air.

We head south and enter the dry heart of the Kalahari, we explore the park, sighting some of the wildlife that live here and understanding the ways of their survival. Predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena occur here as well as water independent antelope such as oryx and springbok. We will be privileged to observe the bushmen’s lifestyle, learning their hunting methods, being shown how to make a traditional fire and understanding their survival for so long in this seemingly hostile environment.
