Upon arriving to the circuit you’ll be greeted with a good breakfast. Then it’s time to prepare the equipment where you’ll be provided with a helmet, jumpsuit, boots and gloves. The instructors will then brief you on all the equipment, driving techniques, rules and safety so that by the end you’ll feel totally at one with these magnificent machines (Ford Cosworth HB 700 HP). You’ll receive a guided driven tour of the circuit, allowing the instructor to also explain all the controls in the cockpit. Once the theory’s been explained, you’ll do your first 6 laps around the circuit in a Renault F3, accompanied by your instructor, guiding and correcting you all the way. You can then put everything you’ve learned into practice during your second round, completing another 6 laps (36 kms in total). Over lunch, you’ll have time to regain your strengths and get briefed on everything you need to know about F1s before hitting the track and burning some rubber! You’ll do 4 laps in the F1 (12kms in total), and in true champ style, all drivers will receive prizes and champagne up on the podium. |
