Dubrovnik, known as ‘The Jewel of the Adriatic’, is a cultured, cosmopolitan city steeped in history. It is surrounded by tall ramparts and there are only two entrances into the old town and since 1979 it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sunsail’s Dubrovnik flotilla holidays explore the coastline known as the Croatian Riviera, as well as taking in the islands of Korcula, Scedro and Lastovo to the west.

A two-week Dubrovnik sailing holiday gives sailors the opportunity to enjoy lovely beaches, visit the famous salt lakes of Mljet and to relax over good food in any number of charming fishing villages.

The mild climate, steady winds and crystal clear waters of the Croatian Riviera make Dubrovnik flotilla sailing a delightful experience.

With short island hops and some potential for longer passages on free sailing days, this is a flotilla that is best suited to confident sailors with a reasonable amount of previous sailing experience.

Summer temperatures range from 23 to 30 C (73 - 86 F) and winds generally from 10 to 20 knots (11 - 23 mph), usually north/north-easterly.

Explore the main harbour of this seafaring island.

Day 3
Kobas, Stonski Canal & 8 miles, 1 hour
This peaceful fishing village is close to the fortified town of Ston, famous for its 5km long wall.

Day 4
Polace, Mljet & 21 miles, 3-4 hours
Meander inland from the coast and moor on the harbour of this quiet Croatian town.

Day 5
Korcula, Korcula & 18 miles, 2-3 hours
Stroll the streets of this lovely little bustling town known as ‘Little Dubrovnik'

This lush green island has several beautiful bays to discover and is also home to over 30 churches.

Head to the famous salt lakes of Mljet as you explore the stunning Mljet National Park.

Discover a true slice of Croatian life in this quaint harbour village.

Head to the daily market for some last minute provisions before joining your flotilla ashore for the final group meal.
