English Harbour to Akyaka
A short sea kayaking expedition through a special little visited corner of southwest Turkey – the coast of the Gulf of Gokova, where we can discover deserted bays, steep rugged cliffs, deep clear pools and fascinating islands, not to mention many types of wildlife. The area is rich in history and the most impressive ruins are those of the ancient city of Cedreae on Sedir Island (Cleopatra’s Island). Mostly, we explore quieter places away from the tourist crowds and swim and snorkel around deserted cliffs and coves that would otherwise be inaccessible.
A little previous experience is required – however all skills and safety drills are explained by our experienced guide. You need to have a sense of adventure, be reasonably fit and be water confident.
