Day 1: Hanoi – Hue
We’ll have a half day city tour of Hanoi before afternoon flight to Hue. We will stay at the Morin hotel – an institution in Hue, designed in colonial French style. The evening is at leisure.
Day 2: Hue – Danang
After breakfast, we’ll begin with a cruise along the romantic Perfume River. We then dine in a fine local restaurant and sample some Hue delicacies. After lunch we transfer to Danang, arriving in Danang late afternoon. We will stay overnight at the spectacular Furama resort. (B, L)
Day 3: Danang – My Son day trip
After breakfast, we’ll embark on a day trip to My Son, via the Cham Museum. Located 60 km from Danang, My Son is considered to be one of the best-preserved Cham centers in Vietnam. My Son is now one of five World Heritage-listed sites in Vietnam. The afternoon is at leisure. (B, L)
Day 4: Danang - Hoi An
After leaving Danang, we’ll drive a short distance to the delightful town of Hoi An approximately 30 km away. Once in Hoi An, we will check into our hotel before embarking on an orientation tour of this ancient trading town. We’ll spend our time walking around the historic town soaking up the atmosphere, exploring the many Chinese assembly halls and fascinating ancestral homes. Overnight in Palm Garden Resort. (B, L)
Day 5: Hoi An tailoring and cooking day
Enjoy a morning market tour to gather fresh products for your half day cooking class! Hoi An is a culinary town and you will learn some of its delicious recipes in this half day cooking class. Of course, lunch will be the fruits of your rewards! After lunch, we will take a local sampan down Hoi An river to visit traditional handicraft villages. The evening is at leisure. (B, L)
Day 6: Hoi An – Danang
Departure day – trip ends.
