Day 1 Umtumvuna
You transfer from the airport one hour down the South coast to your accommodation in Umtumvuna. Your simple but comfortable hostel is run by a local family near Port Edward. This magical spot is within strolling distance of the Umtamvuna Nature Reserve and is close to several unspoilt beaches. It is the ideal place to start your adventure! Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner ("B,L,D") is included.
Day 2 Umtumvuna
You will start off slowly on your adventure and the Tempo will slowly increase - most activities will be between 1 and 3 hours. In the morning, enjoy a hike through the reserve. In the afternoon, mountain bike your way around the gorge ending with sunsets on top of the Gorge. B,L,D.
Day 3 Umtumvuna
The morning begins with a canoe paddle for as little or long as you like up the river into the gorge. In the afternoon, crazy dune buggy racing will leave you buzzing! After Dinner, everyone heads off to the Wild Coast Sun Casino and Entertainment world. The Wild Coast Sun Resort is one of Southern Africa's oldest and most popular casinos just south of Port Edward. B,L,D.
Day 4 Zingela
After Breakfast, you travel in a 4x4 through mountains and incredible landscapes to Zingela. On the way, test your nerves on the world's highest bridge swing which swings out over Oribi Gorge -with fantastic views formed by volcanic eruptions. At your Bush Camp, on the banks of the Tugela river, you will feel as if you have stepped into a Paradise of adventure, five star bush camping and amazing food. B,L,D.
Day 5 Zingela
After breakfast, you will need to check out the rapids for your morning activity - whitewater rafting and then in the afternoon - abseiling. B,L,D.
Day 6 Zingela
In the morning, try your hand at Zip Sliding. After lunch, venture into the reserve for a Guided game walk. B,L,D.
Day 7 Scottburgh
Say goodbye to the Bush Camp as you Quad bike out of Zingela. Later that morning, you will transfer down to the Coast again - this time to Scottburgh - the land of surfing! You will enjoy local hospitality at its best just 5 minutes from the beach. B,L,D.
Day 8 Scottburgh
Today you learning to surf - with two surf lessons of about one hour each in the gentle bay of Scottburgh. For those who already surf, Scottburgh has plenty to entertain on "the out side" of the bay! Enjoy the refreshments from the beachcamp and the picnic lunches! B,L,D.
Day 9 Scottburgh
Another 2 Surfing Lessons in the morning, mean an exhillerating start to your day. Spend the rest of the day practising your new favourite sport or simply chill on the beach! B,L,D.
Day 10 Hluhluwe
Today, you head up the Elephant coast to Northern Zulu Land close to Hluhluwe. In the afternoon, try out a horse back ride through a small game reserve. Afterwards, retire to your Lodge. This tranquil, comfortable but basic Lodge has a strong wildlife theme and lies nestled within indigenous coastal sand forest. It is perfectly placed for exploring South Africa's oldest game park - B,L,D.
Day 11 Hluhluwe
Its Big 5 time! Early morning Game drive in Hluhluwe Game Park. Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Game Reserve is the oldest game park in Africa and is the only one under formal conservation in KwaZulu Natal. The reserve offers visitors self-guided walks, trails, game drives as well as picnic sites and a chance to see elephants, rhinos, lion, leopards, cheetah, hyena and buffalo and much more. Viewing hides often overlook waterholes enabling visitors to see animals at close range. B,L,D.
Day 12 Durban
Yes it has finally arrived, a day of rest! Sleep in and have a morning of leisure. Later in the day, you will head back down South and in the evening, perhaps, sample some of Durban’s night life. B,L,D.
Day 13 Durban
After a leisurely wake up and breakfast we head to Gateway. Try the D Rex! - the world’s first free standing wave that breaks left and right. Choose your style - stand up or lie down! B,L,D.
Day 14 Durban
After breakfast, we head to the Southern Hemisphere’s largest amusement park - USHAKA Marine world. Choose from a whole list of things to do, Included is a visit to the aquarium and to wet n wild which has the Africa’s highest water slide. Breakfast and Dinner only today.
Day 15 Departure Day
After breakfast, you will be transfered to the Durban International Airport for your flight.
The Arrival and Departure Airport is Durban International Airport (DUR).
