Your Croatia activity holiday is based in a small town called ‘Trilj’ not far from Split, where you’ll be taking advantage of the surrounding nature, from gushing rivers to scenic mountain spots. It's the perfect active holiday base, to enjoy a wide selection of land & water activities.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 1 - Welcome Day

Check into your three star Hotel. All rooms are fitted with air-conditioning, satellite TV, mini bar, direct phone line and private bathroom. Unpack and meet the other hotel guests & our Croatia activity holiday co-ordinators.

Dinner and overnight at the Hotel

Day 2 - Canoe Safari

After breakfast in the late morning, we'll take a quick transfer to the village of Han where the canoe-safari starts. We will be taking a ride down the stunning Cetina River.

The ride is on the peacefully flowing, crystal-clear Cetina River and its tributaries, which winds through the green Sinjsko polje.

The canoe ride accompanied with the birds singing makes this experience even more special and is also a good practice for rafting. Our safari ride ends by the Hotel. The rest of the day is free for strolling around Trilj and exploring on your own. Or you can choose to simply relax in and around the hotel. Day 3 - Mountain Biking

The track follows the river and green hills of Trilj and through three villages where the tour stops for a rest at a family farm. After breakfast the tour begins at Grab River Spring. This is a light bike ride along the Cetina River. We will be stopping over at the picturesque village water mills for refreshments before heading to the green hills and vineyards of Bravići before dinner and the overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4 - Mini Rafting

After breakfast and checking the plan with the guide, transfer to the village of Čikotina Lađa on the Cetina River where the kayak- kanu tour through one of the most beautiful and undiscovered canyons in Europe starts. The breathtaking beauty of the canyon, impressive rocky crags with Mediterranean vegetation and cliffs as high as 100 meters will make this adventure an exciting and unforgettable experience.

Day 5 - White water Rafting

The village of Penšići on the Cetina River is where the rafting tour starts. White water rafting through a canyon whose mighty cliffs nestle the rivers rapids as it flows to the sea. The experience will be unforgettable and you will certainly fall in love with this beautiful river. Guests will be given the opportunity to unwind after an adrenaline filled activity with refreshments at the Sea Side, fun & relaxation.

Day 6 - Your free day

A city tour includes a tour of the Cetina-region museum, the Our Lady church and the town fortress. Transfer to the stable “Galop” those who do not ride might take a riding school lesson instead

Walking and Town Sinj a provincial market town. Sinj is one of Croatian's best-known pilgrimage sites, since 1687, as people came to see the miraculous painting of the Virgin Mary. We can visit small villages, hike through green hills, visit the horse stables and cross the Trilj suspension bridge. The day will offer varied landscapes and many pleasing picture perfect moments for your active holiday in Croatia.

Day 7 - Canyoning time

After breakfast at 10 a.m. transfer to the village of Zadvarje where an unforgettable experience in the 200-metre deep Cetina canyon starts. Numerous waterfalls and lakes, subterranean tunnels and the unique Gubavica Falls (38 m) make this a perfect encounter with pristine nature. 3-4 hours of trekking, descents, walking through tunnels and swimming will make this experience memorable. The rest of the afternoon is free.

Day - 8 Departure day

After a late breakfast, there will be some time for shopping, brisk walks about town, and then we must make our sad farewells and take you home for your airport departure. This is always the hardest activity, as it is hard to say good bye to the new friends we have made during your activity holiday. We never say goodbye!' In the heart of Trilj, you’ll be staying in a family run 3 star hotel. This fantastic locally run hotel, offers: en-suite twin, triple & quad rooms. The food is locally sourced, and will be another added highlight to your Croatia active holiday experience. This fabulous hotel grew out of the 75-years old family tradition, and continues to go from strength to strength.

Trilj lies on the crossroads of major routes from the Croatia inland to the Adriatic coast. It is just 30 km from the major city and port of Split and its international airport. Its clean and ecologically preserved environment, pleasant climate, cultural and historical heritage combined with traditional way of life have made Trilj an adorable destination.
