In your free time you can also arrange a day-trip to some of the famous archeological sites of the area such as ancient Olympia, Mycenae, Epidavros, Nemea and Sparta.

Your destination is Tripolis, in the world-reknown Arcadia, the center of Peloponnese, the heart of the ancient world, where the blessed and beautiful mountains meet the Greek seas and its famous beaches.Tripolis is nowadays a small city that managed to maintain the pure Greek way of living, avoiding mass-tourism.

Itinerary / Highlights

Full Program:
DAY 1: We welcome you at the Athens Airport El. Venizelos. Then transport to Tripolis and arrival at the hotel with a welcome dinner. You will also have the chance to explore the night life of the city which has plenty of cafes, bars and clubs.
DAY 2: Biking: visit the ancient city of Tegea by bicycle.Lunch will be served back in the hotel.
DAY 3: Rafting: Rafting to Lousios river and admire the unique nature of Greek mainland. Lunch will be served there.
DAY 4: Trekking: Trekking in the magical Lousios gorge with the hidden monasteries built among the rocks. The best part is left for the end, as the program includes picnic and relaxation next to the river under the trees.
DAY 5: Horse riding: Our experienced tutors will teach you the secrets of horse riding, so you can make it easily, even if you are a first-time rookie. We will also combine this day with visits to the ancient city of Mantinea and then to the Kapsia Cave, which is one of the most important caves in Greece. For more experienced riders, these visits can be realized by horse riding through the meadows guided by one of our tutors. Coming back, we have arranged barbecue for you at the farm.
DAY 6: Sailing: Half-day trip in the Argolic gulf, where you will have the opportunity to try your sailing skills, swim in the sea or sunbath on the boat and if you are lucky, meet dolphins. Food will be offered onboard. At the end of the sailing trip, you will come off board in the famous Nafplion, where you will spend your afternoon free.
DAY 7: Free day. You can relax at the hotel, explore Tripolis, or enjoy the famous Greek beach and cafes at Astros. If the group agrees, you can also try one of the day-trips to archeological sites like ancient Olympia, Mycenae, Epidavros, Nemea and Sparta.
DAY 8: Leave Tripolis and the hotel and head to Athens, directly to Acropolis. The visit includes of course, both Acropolis and the archeological museum. When tour is finished, we transport you at the airport. (According to the time of flight, visit of Acropolis can be done on day 1).

DAY 3: day-trip to Astros: day of complete relaxation in the beach, spending the whole day in Astros, one of the most beautiful seaside villages of Arcadia. You will have plenty of time to enjoy the sand, the sun and the sea, taste the traditional Greek cuisine in the local taverns and walk in the graphic small harbour. This settlement is alive and the sea is very warm even for Greeks, from June to September

DAY 6: day-trip to Nafplion: you will have the chance to swim and enjoy the sea. You will have plenty of time as well, to visit Palamidi, the Venetian castle with the 999 steps or Bourtzi castle in the centre of the harbour(by boat), walk by the harbour or try the Greek cuisine in the local traditional taverns
DAY 7: as above
DAY 8: Having a good breakfast, we take our luggage, leave Tripolis and the hotel and head to Athens, directly to Athens Airport.

Accommodations for your holiday will be made at Palatino Rooms & Apartments, located in the city of Tripolis. The luxurious apartments are perfect for families or groups of up to 5 people. Our rooms are ideal for singles or couples. Internet access, breakfast, room service and bar are some of the facilities that our hotel provide.In case of non-availability in Palatino,we will arrange for you to stay at 3 star hotel of similar quality.
