Finland Adventure
Experience Finland's traditional adventure in a beautiful scenery of Saariskelka area.
You will be able to explore the areas on a 4 hour dog sledding safari after being taught how to drive a dog sled team before you take off with your very own team. Then you will have a chance to be a musher, and can marvel at this incredible mode of transport, as the dogs yelp and bark their way across the frozen tundra. Experience a night under the stars in a igloo.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This Arctic experience is designed to be fun and give you a taste of the best of the far Northern climes. However temperatures can drop to almost -30c, so you need to be aware that this may mean some activities would be cancelled or shortened. The activities are just a guide until the trip has been confirmed.

26th January -
Today you will have the day to start exploring the area. There is plenty on offer here, dog sledding, perhaps visiting the ice gallery where you can try your hand at ice sculpturing. Overnight in log cabin. Half board.
27th January - After a hearty breakfast you can head out on the snow mobiles for a 4 hour session. These powerful machines allow you to experience the frozen wilderness at quite a pace – a real adrenalin rush.
28th January - Today you will fly back to London via Helsinki full of amazing memories of what will have been a once in a lifetime experience. Breakfast included. |

Log Cabin x 2
You will have a real experience tonight as you spend the night in a glass igloo. They have been built from a very special thermo glass. Because of that, the temperature inside the Igloo is always a normal room temperature. It also prevents the glass from not getting white frosted, hence keeping the view clear even when the temperature drops under -30 C. To increase the comfort for you, the Igloos have a toilet and luxury beds. Half board. |
