Gigondas Apartment

8-10 person, 3-bedroom cottage in the south of France. Swimming Pool.

Gigondas is the biggest of the four 'gites' at 'Les Beaux Terroirs'. It is a large cottage with accommodation for up to 8-10, a massively spacious living room, a wonderful high-ceilinged kitchen/dining room, plus a beautiful private rose-covered terrace that faces west for those evenings in the sun.

Outside is a swimming pool, plenty of parking and a gorgeous garden with lots of private nooks and crannies.

The gite has been renovated to keep as much of the original character as possible. Much of the furniture was built by the owner's carpenter cousin, while another cousin painted the watercolours. The house has full central heating.

Guests in Gigondas share access to our laundry room with guests from the other apartments. There you will find a large washing machine, tumble drier, iron and ironing board.

The kitchen/dining area is equipped with top-notch SMEG and Bosch appliances, including dishwasher and a huge 5-plate double-width stove. It has a big wooden dining table (made by cousin Simon in the style of a traditional French farmhouse table). The pitched ceiling reaches up to 4m high, has a big Velux window and exposed beams.

The living room has two large sofas (one is a very comfy sofabed) and chairs for lounging about on. There's a big TV, DVD player, stereo and wifi access.

Bedroom 3 is also on the ground floor and has a double bed.

Upstairs, bedroom 2 has twin beds or double bed and ensuite shower room. The master bathroom has a bath and separate shower. Bedroom 1 also has twin beds that join into a double plus a further 2 single beds.

TIP: If you’ve got a bigger group and Gigondas is already booked, rent Chateauneuf and Cote-Rotie together for the same amount of accommodation (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large kitchen/dining/living area with additional sofabed and lots of outside space).

Weeks usually run from Saturday to Saturday during high season unless by special arrangement. Additional cleaning (€30-50/gite) and linen (€12/person) fees may apply.
