Day 1 Nairobi-
Discover the bright lights of Nairobi.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru-
Lake Nakuru is a favourite spot with birdlife. Listen out for the chatter of black and white colobus monkeys in the treetops above.

Days 3-4 Eldoret/ Kampala-
Visit a rural school project. Spot more lakeside animals at dawn, then hit the road to Eldoret.

Days 5-6 Kibale Forest National Park-
Wander the rainforests in search of cheeky chimps.

Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park-
Marvel at birdlife while cruising the Kazinga Channel. During land safaris, search out lions and antelope.

Day 8 Lake Bunyonyi-
Perhaps head out in a canoe to cruise the lake's idyllic waters.

Days 9-11 Gorilla Trek-
Hike through jungle to see Rwanda's enigmatic mountain gorillas.

Day 12 Lake Mburo-
Spot the unique wildlife around the lakeside acacia forests.

Days 13-14 Jinja-
See the Nile cascading over Bujagali Falls.

Days 15-16 Eldoret/ Nairobi-
Return through Kenya’s highlands.

Day 17-18 Mto Wa Mbu/ Karatu-
Discover Tanzanian farming life by participating in a community village program.

Days 19-20 Serengeti National Park-
From a bush camp on the Serengeti plains, try to spot grazing animals.

Day 21 Ngorongoro Crater-
Venture into this African Eden via 4x4 and look for the iconic Big Five on the crater's floor.

Day 22 Marangu-
Meet the kids at the Amani Children's Home, then experience life among the Chagga people.

Days 23-24 Usambara Mountains-
Spend time exploring unspoilt scenery and chatting to affable villagers.

Day 25 Dar es Salaam-
Set up camp on a beach outside Dar es Salaam.

Days 26-28 Zanzibar-
Explore cosmopolitan Stone Town and smell exotic scents during a spice plantation tour.

Day 29 Dar es Salaam-
Camp on a palm-fringed beach.

Days 30-31 Iringa/ Chitimba-
Spot elephants, buffaloes and giraffes in Mikumi National Park.

Days 32-33 Lake Malawi-
Teeming with more fish species than any other lake on earth, discover Lake Malawi. See local life played out on the shore and dive into this unique freshwater paradise.

Days 34-35 Luwawa Forest Lodge-
Pristine and off the tourist trail, Malawi’s Viphya Mountains offer cycling, canoeing, fishing or forest walks.

Days 36-37 Chipata/ Lusaka-
Traverse scenic farmland.

Days 38-39 Livingstone/ Victoria Falls-
The adventure ends beside the rushing Zambezi. Visit the spectacle that is Victoria Falls.
