Guided walking in the Alpujarras
From the jagged heights of the Sierra Nevada to forested gorges and citrus groves; on the sierra’s lower slopes is the little-visited Alpujarras region, which has a series of tiny, whitewashed Moorish villages clinging precariously to the side of the hills. The Alpujarras offers something for everyone, the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada to the Coast is less than an hour. The contrasting views, the rich heritage as well as the open friendliness of the people makes this an ideal location for a walking holiday. Our tours link many of these villages with easy to moderate day tours allowing you to enjoy the area to the full.
Many of our walks include sections of the wonderful GR7 long distance path.

Walking and Trekking Grades (guide only)
Description:
B Medium - mid level walks. Some strenuous days.
C Medium - mid level walks. Generally simple ascents and shorter days. More rest stops.
D Easy - Gentle walks. Not strenuous
