Why settle for one activity when you can experience a few? This extremely rewarding trip combines one of best and most beautiful treks in Nepal, with a 3 day whitewater rafting expedition on the Marsyandi River , and a superb ‘up close and personal’ jungle safari in Chitwan National Park. Starting with an 8 day Trek, we will stroll up onto the northern slopes of the Himalaya along the Annapurna Circuit. Passing through gorgeous boomlet towns, wonderful rice paddy fields, pine forests and open meadows we will arrive in Manang with superb panoramic views having crossed the Thorong La Pass (5416m). With a visit to Muktinath, the important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, this trail is a classic providing spectacular views and a taste of everything that the Annapurna has to offer.

Arriving at Ngadi we will meet up with our river support for the next leg of our journey on the Marsyandi River - renowned for being one of the best whitewater rivers in the world. The scenery is magnificent and the whitewater is an energetic turquoise blue, as it sweeps south down the valley to join the Trisuli, providing an exhilarating and extremely fulfilling whitewater adventure. After the energetic past few days we now transfer to Chitwan National Park for a well deserved relaxation and the opportunity to meet an abundance of wildlife. With treks through the jungle on the backs on elephants, boat rides and nature trails you cannot help but be in awe of the wonderful creatures that you will encounter in these perfect surroundings. With free time for sightseeing and retail therapy in Kathmandu to end your expedition, this will certainly be an experience to remember.
