History and Humus

Beginning in Istanbul we'll take in the highlights of the Turkish coast, visiting Gallipoli, the legendary city of Troy and the magnificent ruins of Ephesus. We head inland to Cappadocia before crossing the border into Syria, taking in imposing Crusader castles, ancient Palmyra and the capital Damascus. Entering Jordan we'll visit the amazing lost city of Petra, meet the Bedouin in Wadi Rum and visit the Dead Sea. We overland across Sinai, with time to relax on the Red Sea beaches of Dahab before we arrive at our destination, Cairo.
