AirThe following airports are all within easy reach of La Rosière, with scheduled coach transfers available from many:Geneva 2.5 hours, Lyon 2.5 hours, Grenoble 2.5 hours, Chambery 1.5 hours and Turin (via the Frejus Tunnel) 3 hours.These times can vary, depending on weather conditions and traffic volumes! We can arrange private taxi and coach transfers if required.RailBourg Saint Maurice, 26 kilometres from La Rosiére, is serviced by weekly Eurostar departures from London St Pancras International, leaving Friday evening and Saturday morning, and daily French national rail services.RoadLa Rosière is about 1000 kms from Calais, approximately 10 hours driving. Over 900 km of this journey is on motorways which are consistently much quieter than roads in the UK. It can be a cost effective way to get to La Rosière, especially with a large group. Fuel is slightly cheaper in France than it is in the UK but remember to allow approximately 80.00 euro for road tolls.If you are using SATNAV, programme your destination as Bourg Saint Maurice, and from there follow the road signs or use a map!There are a number of places named La Rosiere, and SATNAV may direct you to the wrong location.Parking is available at the front of the hotel.Please note that the Col du Petit San Bernard is CLOSED in winter, and that you cannot travel to La Rosière via the Mont Blanc Tunnel.
