Spyker castle was home to an important historical figure: Count Carl Gustav Wrengel lived here until his death in1676 and had the three- dimensional stucco ceilings in the Bel Etage put in at his request. Directions
Arriving by car: Take either the A20 from Hamburg, the A11 from Berlin then either the A20 or A19 autobahns via Rostock to Stralsund. Cross over the bridge and take the B96 towards Sassnitz. Leave the B96 at the Sagard exit and continue via Bobbin. Turn left after 500 metres.Arriving by train: From Stralsund, take the regional train to Sagard. We can organise a taxi to pick you up from the station. Please ask one of our friendly reception staff if you require this service.
