IKO Kitesurfing Beginner Course
This course gives you a good introduction to the booming sport of kitesurfing.
You'll learn to rig the equipment, learn where and when to launch, how to control the kite and board. We will make you see the importance of safety issues related to this extreme sport.
Take this as a course in itself, or extend to the 4 day IKO certification course.($325)

Day1.
Objectives: To gain knowledge and control of 4 line kites, Unhooked flying and hooked in flying.
Practical: Wind window and kite dynamics. Setting up and packing down (land and water). Kite flying, launching and landing. Water re-launching. Body dragging.
Day 2.
Objectives: Further kite control, Hooked in and progress to first water starts:
Practical: Body dragging and further kite skills. 1 hand piloting and upwind body dragging. Water starts and riding. |
