Inca Jungle
This new route is considered one of the more beautiful and complete alternating routes to arrive at Machu Picchu. Because it's flexible and is one of the less explored and we will be able to make long walks of 4 days or the option to do the first day the tour in Mountain bicycles.
Beginning from the 4215 m.s.n.m. to the 2220 m.s.n.m. in where we enjoyed the landscapes from puna rustic to the tropical forest and also will be able to appreciate archaeological complexes, or find small sections of Inca trails with stone steps, that are not even visited by many tourists, beautiful waterfalls, natural thermal baths, exotic fruits and the daily life of the settlers of this zone with who it will be able to share its amiability.

Itinerary / Highlights
Day 1: Cusco & Santa MariaWe pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer by private transportation to the trailhead at Abra Malaga, here we will start to biking to Santa Maria, in this route we can appreciate archeolical site, birds of the forest, medicinal plants, snakes, butterflies and tropical fruits and also we will be able to visit local families in its daily routine. This night you can take a shower at a family run hostel
Day 2: Santa Maria & Santa Terasa
Early morning, we will continue our trip, which gets progressively steeper, until arriving at the welcoming family restaurant, where you can relax in hammocks, admiring the coca plant and take on refreshments while being entertained by the family monkey. After a short while you will reach the real Inca Trail, which winds around precipitous slopes and sheer drops for approximately half a mile. Be warned this is not for people who suffer from vertigo! We will descend to Colcamayo, where you can take a bath at the natural hot springs before going up to Santa Teresa located along the Santa Teresa River, accommodation in the family homestead.
Day 3: Santa Teresa& Aguas Calientes
Wake up, have breakfast before taking private transport to Lucmabamba town, we will see the sunset with a stunning scenery of one of the main highlights in south America Machupicchu, then descending the path easily followed down to the bamboos groves and into forest of increasingly thick vegetation and tall trees some excellent birdwatching opportunities and then we can see the faint outlines. Reaching to la Hidreoelectrica we follow the rail tracks heading up the Urubamba valley to our last night (Aguas Calientes)
Day 4: Aguas Calientes &Machupicchu - Cusco
After an early morning breakfast we will walk up to Machupicchu sanctuary and entering early for the best photos opportunities and then spend the rest of the morning visiting and exploring the ruins and take the time to climb up to Huaynapicchu before heading down to Aguas calientes to aboard the train back to Ollantaytambo and overnight.
