The course is run by Jon Dodds - owner of Kite Club Cabarete. Jon has a very high level in the sport himself, he became an IKO examiner in 2002 and has since been coaching and training instructors for over 2 years worldwide including the US, Egypt, Caribbean and Europe. He has since set up his own school and has become a training master, meaning he trains the examiners themselves to ensure the IKO high standards are maintained.

Surfcamp Cabarete is a unique place to stay, and one of a kind in Cabarete. There is a special feel to the place as people from all over the world mingle, laugh and enjoy there surroundings. The accommodation is mainly composed of sophisticated huts and one main apartment creating a tropical village paradise. All rooms are fitted with fans and many come with en suite. Everywhere is wireless internet connection.
Within our standard package price there are single, twin and double rooms available. These rooms come with a fan, a sink and a mosquito net and access to clean shared bathroom facilities. Within the elite package, again we have single, twin and double rooms available and the room comes with en suite. Rooms are cleaned every day. |
