Johannesburg Explorer Safari
We only use Land Rovers Defenders on our safaris because of their durability and off road capabilities. Its powerful diesel engines combined with low range gearbox makes it excellent when travelling long distances in sand.
Another very useful thing is the traction control in all our vehicles. A Build in long range fuel tank gives you the extra kilometres that you will need to get from the one village to the next. Also included in all our vehicles is a 40 l build in water tank. Remember… there are no Seven Eleven or other Quick Stops!
Our Recovery Equipment
All our vehicles are equipped with a very high standard but reliable recovery kit. This kit exists of one high lift jack, one snatch strap, one tow strap and shackles.
In this kit we also include a whole range of tools that you might need or might come in handy. Like, a 12v air compressor, tire repair kit, folds up shovel, sand tracks, axe, electrical fuses, socket set flat ring set and much more.
