Kayak School Full Day Taster, Zambia
If you have a day to spare in Livingstone and it has been your ambition to learn to kayak, try out our kayak school on the Zambezi River. You'll be collected a your lodge or hotel at 8 am and driven to the stunning setting of the school, in the flat piece of water between rapids 5 and 6.
Here you'll be taught the fundementals of how to exit your boat and given a full safety briefing. Once on the warm water, we'll go though paddle and bracing stroke and the techniques on how to paddle your boat from one side of the river to the other and catch eddies and slow moving water.
We'll supply you with a hearty lunch and drinks and a chance to relax in the sun before more we get to challenge your first Zambezi Rapid, Rapid 6, a fun filled Grade 3 piece of whitewater. Here you get to run this as many times as you like.
After you walk out of the gorge, you'll get a cold beer and transported back to your hotel.
